Chapter History
CLOSE BOND OF SISTERHOOD
Our journey and celebration in Zeta Tau Alpha began as collegians. The future of ZTA depends on its alumnae continuing that journey and celebration. Established in 1922, the Houston Alumnae Association of ZTA is proud to be not only one of the largest alumnae organizations in the country.
DIVERSE SISTERHOOD
From new college graduates, and singles to mothers, and working professionals to retirees, our members represent a diverse population of dedicated women and community leaders advancing ZTA ideals. Our members attended universities all across the country, from East to West coast and Texas too. They reside throughout the Greater Houston area including the downtown area, inside and outside Loop 610, and suburbs north, west, and south, including Spring, Katy, Sugar Land, and Richmond. Meeting locations range from the Midtown area to the Tanglewood, Memorial, and Bellaire areas.
AWARD-WINNING SISTERHOOD
HAA has been recognized at the state level as well as nationally for our outstanding service to the fraternity, including the Betty McGehee Scheussler Award, which is the highest honor for all alumnae chapters.
